Moving

How hard is it to flip the switch to turn on our home phone? Really? VERIZON dropped the ball today. They did not have to come in. We called and wonderd where are they? They said its on. Oh no its not. So got to call them in the am and give em hell.

Might finally get a chance to wash the xterra tomorrow.

Nice Blaze! I love them an lynx, unfortunately I had to go with a napoleon for my setup being I needed something on wheels. I did pick up the 750 rsbi though :)

Going to work on the basement some today. Boxes/car care etc. Met the neighbors on the one side of us this morning. Nice. Older couple. House on the other side is currently vacant.
 
Wish my list was complete. Interior needs painting, I need a few more pieces of furniture and some pictures need to be hung but things did seem better after DTV was installed.
Probably should have painted before getting DTV installed with the sports ticket, LOL. Now I watch football instead of painting. :) Glad you are getting settled in.

Car care is set up. Good enough. With winter approaching i did not set up the garage with chemicals of course. But what i need is close by. Place has a large basement. There are 2 garages. The old one is on the side. Put mowers etc in there. The bigger new one, is behind the house. The driveway is ok. It will hold our 2 vehicles TANDAM tho. :( Guess he said the grass beside is ok. And we are right behind a fire hall parking lot. That i guess is ok to park too? With different shifts, tandam will suck! If only they made the driveway wider!! We will have to figure what works best once i get back to work next week.

Try some pavers on the left side of the drive way. That way you don't have to get out into the grass. I did 12"x12" pavers, 2 across, outlined with a brick pavers. It looks good and gives me +2' of extra room.
 
Back to work tomorrow. Some vacation! LOL. Sadly she broke down yesterday, and stated how much she misses our former rental. Sadly i am still homesick too. WE HAD NO CHOICE. Then we got together and said it is what it is and we have to move FOWARD. I am still livid about losing my e-mail, but set up a new yahoo account. Guess we have to be strong and think positive.

And dealing with getting my security depos. back....
 
I just wanted to personally thank everyone for your support during this rough time. It's far from over. But with everyones prayers, we will see this thru. MONEY is a big issue now. And we dont ever think this will feel like home. But it what we have to both face, and come out stronger for this. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about above...

You guys have put your heads down and worked very hard and look at the beautiful place you have today..

Yes, it doesnt feel like home but it will in time... I am at that place as well, and can totally relate to what you said..

You are indeed both stronger in every way and will look back on this soon and think - " wow, how did we do all that and get through all that?"
And then you will remember the one source of all our strength, our love, our every breath, our lives, and then, the peace that surpasses all understanding will be there...

Thanks for all that you guys did !!! Its a new start, a new year coming soon...
We are all so grateful to have been able to do just a little for you guys and will continue to offer up those prayers on your behalf..
