Mothers Scratch Remover

I just bought a bottle of Mothers Scratch Remover. It has worked better on some scratches more than others. Does anyone here have experience using this? I had some light scratches that came out fairly easy and then a couple medium ones I really had to work at different angles and with more pressure to get out. Then some others that just didn't come out no matter what I tried.

I just didn't want to push or rub to hard as I was affraid of damaging the clear coat.

It's an actual polish, so what you are doing is "sanding" away some paint (clearcoat) when you use it. It's fairly safe (IMO) so you shouldn't worry about rubbing through your paint using light to moderate pressure by hand. (Unless you use an abrasive medium, such as a steel wool pad or sand paper ;) )

The (likely) reason the light scratches were removed more easily than the deeper ones is that you didn't need to remove as much paint to level the paint as low as the bottom of the scratch. (removing the scratch) The deeper ones will require more paint to be removed to level them out. This may or may not be something you can do by hand.
