My neighbor asked my opinion of this tool today and I really did not want to tell him anything unless I had some experience with it first. It is marketed for your weekend warrior with only a cordless drill and some extra time to put on a little wax (not most Autopians). If anyone has had experience with it, I would like to get your opinions.
 
i noticed they had it at walmart the other day, and it comes with a 4oz bottle of fx synwax...

Why not use your hands for waxing!

Depending on the situation I normally use either my hands or my UDM.



Again however, my neighbor asked me about this product, so I just thought that I would get the opinions of those that may have used it here on Autopia to see if they saw any benefits.

I use the mini for rims and it works great. Can't see anyone trying to polish their paint with a drill. JMO.
 
May be ok to remove minor scratches and such with Scratch-x but I personally wouldnt use it.



Just doesnt seem very practical to me.



I use the original Powerball Mini for my rims and love it. Ive had great success with it and #80 or #83. :cool:
 
I have a 4" hook and loop backing plate for my drill. I have never used one of these balls for polishing paint but have used my drill to polish paint before. The newer euro cars have all sorts of strange nooks and crannies that I can only get too with the smaller drill and smaller pads. But I am also from the old school, where we did what ever it took to get the job done.
