Most extreme acid rain - water spots removal on a brand new peugeot- privilege detail

Redcar GUY

New member
I had to help out a friend with puting a tramsmission in his Talon to day, my GF was going to a baby shower. When I go home she asked if we could go out to eat...... so I shower and then we hop in the saturn and go eat, when we came out of the Restaurant there was a slight mist in the air. I said "hmm looks like a little rain" we get in the car and she says "step on it! i dont want the freshy washed car to get water spots!" I was like WTH! I asked he what has gotten in to her>? She said "the car looks great, no need do ruin it with the rain" I said " you are gettin worse than me!" She says "you are the one that made me like this" Then she says "the Stoners does a great job on the glass" I just shook my head in disbelef..........

So it looks like the bug has bitten her, but the funny thin is....I have to do all the work! O well fun aint it:)

i wish my wife would think that way. all she ever wants me to do is detail her car. She gets mad when i put hers off for a paying customer. When i do detail her car, within 2 days the inside is destroyed all over again with papers & crap. she is a school teacher and just lets things pile up in the car.

One day she told me that she can detail a car better than me if she wanted to. She went outside to detail her own car and in less the 10 minutes came inside and told me to finish it as it is to hot outside for her.

There should be 100 (Autopian) questioniare test a girl should take before you marry her...there was a movie where the guy made her take a sports test before he married her.....Steve Gutenburg was it..

Bwhahahahahahaha!!! Good one David! LOL

My wife is as into detailing as I am. We work together. She handles the insides and I handle the outsides. She's pretty anal about cleanliness so she does a really good job on the inside. I need to teach her how to do the exteriors so we can start doing 2 at a time. :)

NY Detailer, my wife is just like yours........ loves the look of a freshly detailed vehicle, but wants nothing to do with keeping it up.......

I keep a bottle of QD and a couple MF's in her car for her, with the instructions of "use these if your car gets dusty or bombed by a bird, because we dont want that to dry on there and scratch/stain."

does she do it?? HELL NO!! she says "but thats just nasty! I would get all dirty if I did that...."

I usually just look at her and say "better you than the car...... you're not as big as the car and alot easier/more fun to wash. I can wash YOU everyday without feeling a bit bad about it. The car, however...... well I dont want to go thru a whole bottle of Z7 a month!"

:p

how to keep the white car white?

Malaysia is known for its tropical climate - plenty of heat & plenty of rain & plenty of acid rain = TA DA -------most severe acid rain
in the world

how to keep the white car white it is too much a challenge to keep our ride clean & looking cool....not easy & quite hard to achieve it...ended up....we let other help us to do it.... for we know the best that we can ever do for our car is to take ownership of it......

good looking ride - just slightly 2 months old

IMG_6690.JPG

my buddy actually calls ask me to help him to preps & protect this new investment
IMG_6694.JPG

great looking ! clean ! detail??? especially under bright sun light - nothing will hide - so much so if you are trying to find swirls on a white car under the sun will eventually blind your sight...for those of you had -
i remember i did an E60 white & shot some pic under the sun, just before i sleep my eyes blink blink - comes watery - too much sun light entered into my retina - be careful !!! use proper shade or old negative to cut the glare of your camera view finder & proper sun glasses

IMG_6748.JPG

cant complaint much!!

lets move in - closer & nearer -
IMG_6695.JPG

What I did was
STEP 1 - wash - OPC 1 : 5 dilutions with brushes for all windows & stains area

STEP 2 - preps - CLAY with Onr as lubrications - removing tar spots & stains at the hard to reach area. ONR wash after claying

STEP 3 - Paint Corrections - Start off with Osren Velvet pad - Optimum Hyper spray compound ( 3 puff on the pad - speed 1 to spread - speed 3 - 3.5 to level out the paint -)

followed by LC double sided wool pad with Optimum Hyper spray compound ( 3 puff on the pad - speed 1 to spread - speed 3 to level out the paint -)

followed by LC Cutting foam pad with Optimum Hyper spray compound ( 3 puff on the pad - speed 1 to spread -gradually increase to speed 3 )

polish with Megs Polish pad with Optimum Hyper spray Polish ( 3 puff on the pad - speed 1 to spread - gradually increase to speed 2 & finish off at speed 1)

polish with LC Glazing pad with Optimum Hyper spray Polish ( 3 puff on the pad - speed 1 to spread - gradually increase to speed 2 & finish off at speed 1)

STEP 4 - Protection - Optimum Protection with Optimum Coating for good ( say bye bye to wax)

STEP 5 - need to be maintain by the owner - a weekly wash ( not road side wash again)

You can make a different ....... there is a real story

one day that there is a man who like to stroll on the beach prior going to work & he saw a young man like dancing, as he approach he saw this little young boy, throwing back the star fish into the sea - he ask there are miles & mile of star fish on the shores - its foolish of you to waste your time pick them up - you cant saves them all...this young man came back & pick up & throw another start fish into the sea & replied "for that star fish - i make a different"

it is always impossible to reach the world - even all the car owners in our country - but for this - i make the different

thanks again for taking your precious time to view

now could you pls give me some air to breath
IMG_6675.JPG
