most durable topper

I have been a Zaino guy for quite a while. Ran out of most of my Z products early last year and switched to NXT for pure convienience. With my new truckI have decided to get back to using a little higher quality of product. I recently ordered a few of the TC products, namely the swirl remover and TC-3. I chose TC due to the results I have seen on friends cars. However, their cars are all garage kept and my truck sleeps outside. To keep it short I'm looking for a topper to add durability after the TC products have been applied. As you know Washington is quite wet, temps don't get too high so that is not a major concern, but I'm wanting something to seal in my hard earned results. Thanks gang, happy to be a member of the forums here.

I'll hop on the 845 bandwagon, too. It's been great this winter for me. It's also great for a car that you know won't get as much TLC afterwards as it should. I do a few "favor" cars for friends who are definitely not "Autopians," and I couldn't imagine using something else.

A NAPA store near here has it for less than ten dollars a bottle. Can't beat it.

Sorry for the newbishness, but what is the difference between the collinite 845 and 915. Liquid v. paste is obvious on first glance, but what are the differences beyond that? How do they compare to the 1000p? Are both products sythetics? Lasty, do any of the products contain any cleaning agents? I sure would hate to nullify any of the TC's filling properties.

out of the products that I've used, UPP (several layers) and #16 have lasted the longest. both I got about 4 months of durability in florida weather.

you've got the newer XP version correct? TC-3 has a nice look and is fairly durable- I think the Finish Kare paste waxes would be a good choice although 845 is a good product as well. I don't think you could go wrong with any of those products.

Yes, I have the new XP version. I'm looking at the p1000 right now as a topper. Does anyone have experience using this product. I have searched and found some good info on it, but I'd love to read more.

Just received products from FK1 and CG; looking forward to spring. I've had a single layer of 845 on since October '05 - still looks good with tight water beading. Easily the most durable product I've ever used. :2thumbs:

well i bit the bullet and ordered the 1000p. Had to get some new MF's and a couple applicators too ;)

I never have had good luck w/ applying pastes via the PC.
