I used this on a 2002 Jaguar S Type that had tar on it. I used Vanilla Moose on the other vehicles, but since this guy wants his car done weekly, I figured I would take the opportunity to see just how durable Grojet is.
Sorry the pics are a little dark, I was in the shade and I guess the light meter was picking up the sun shine past the shadows. Oh well, these pics still show how glossy Grojet is. I'll get better pics next week.

2002 Lexus LX470 with the Wolfgang twins. This is the typical single stage black Lexus paint. I got no color transfer using the sealant. None, zero, zip, nada. Rewashed it this week and the paint still felt super silky and slick, just like the week before.
Lexus LS430 that I wash about every two weeks. I used VM/CMW the last time (early December) and it was still beading nicely and looked great, but the WG twins added more gloss and very nice depth for a synthetic combo.
2004 F-150. Wolfgang twins again. This truck was a challange due to the plethora of oak trees on his properly. I had to wipe down each panel ahead of the polishing and waxing. No room in his garage so I had to tough it out. Turned out real nice though.
2001 Cadillac DTS. Also had previously used VM/CMW on this one (back on October 8th) and it was beading nicely and still had good optics. As expected though, the WG twins added more gloss and depth and a super slick surface.
2000 Toyota Tacoma. Used as a hunting truck (the platform is for blasting holes in Bambi from up on high ). He just wanted it cleaned up before he took it down to his deer lease where he keeps it. Polished with Vanilla Moose and sealed with Poorboy's EX-P Sealant.
1995 Olds Aurora
The owner had used a foam brush at a coin-op car wash, so I polished out the light scratches with Meguiars SFP #82, glazed with the Euro version of 3Ms Finesse-it III and waxed with Carnauba Moose. Very wet looking combo!
Now for my own car. I had applied 2 layers of NXT (one in late January and one in early February), then 2 layers of Meguiars #16 Pro Paste Wax in early March and the second layer about a week ago.
Not too bad for a 14-year-old Accord....and yes, I confess, the paint on the front end is only 4 years old, decent match and notice how little orange peel is on the front fender and hood-which is why I only recommend that body shop to my customers!
after seeing the pics of your car, i think i need to order some #16. is your glass polished or just glass cleaner?? what's your secret, glass seems to be the thorn in my side.
Edwin-I've applied #16 right over #20, but it has always been at least a week after using NXT that I put #16 over it. I don't know how much it would matter though, I suspect #16 will ultimately prove more durable than NXT anyway.
JC-I go over the glass on mine and my customer's cars with Vanilla Moose about every 4-6 weeks and maintain with Eagle's 20/20 Glass Cleaner.
Jose-yeah, I really like my old Accord. No car payments for the last 8 years and the car still looks decent except for the bumper and hail dents. If I can find a really cherry, low mileage 93 Accord coupe with a 5 speed, I probably will buy it. I just really like that body style.
Look for my thread tomorrow as I detailed a Porsche today with FMJ and I am taking pictures tomorrow, after a drive in the Porsche of course I didn't take any pictures today because the sky was getting a bit too dark so be on the lookout tomorrow!
I look forward to seeing the pics of that Porsche with the FMJ on it! How does the FMJ compare to other sealants you have used? If you have time, please elaborate.

Bad news The weather turned sour AGAIN! So I had to postpone the pictures of the Porsche but I hope to have a chance tomorrow to get some or perhaps even later today if the weather clears, heck I'll be happy with partly cloudy skies
Comparing the FMJ with other sealants is rather easybecause it is perhaps one of the nicest ones I have yet to work with. Easier on and off than UPP and Blackfire, enahnced depth and gloss over Blackfire and while the appearance may be on equal par with UPP (I am stating this from memory and not a side by side comparison) it is easier to work with so my choice would be the FMJ over the UPP.
It is layerable (the FMJ) and I have two coats on the Porsche right now and will perhaps add a third before snapping some pictures or i may test an area with a carnauba topper like Trade Secret or P21S.
