Finally finished doing a complete exterior detail on my car today. Polished the paint with Blackfire SRC followed by a coat of Acrylic Prime and 3 coats of AJ. I also got down and dirty with the less glamorous areas as well. :D

Thanks for the compliments guys! :)

I actually wish I had a dark colored car. Right now I have the paint virtually swirl and scratch free. I have practiced proper washing and drying techniques ever since I got the car (over 4 years ago). If this car was black or red, the shine and depth would be amazing.

Very nice thorough job, you take great care of that car! Are those Depos with HIDs?

Yes they are Depos with 6000K HIDs and predator chromium angel eyes. Excellent product for the money.

What a beautiful M! The paint looks superb and the underside of the car and the fenderwells look clean enough to eat off of. :)

Great job! Very clean M3 :).

I just bought a Black '98 328is (60k miles) a few days ago. Really liking it so far.

If I find an m3 in a condition like yours though, I might consider exchanging mine for one.

That's just straight up clean and tidy....very slick paint work. I'm digging the stance there with those red lined wheels...me likey! :2thumbs:

Good looking E36. Are you on BimmerForums? If not, you should be. :xyxthumbs (I am "95RogueM3" over there)

Do you find the SRC to be excessively dusty? Ive heard some say the 106ff is CRAZY-Dusty (they are sister-products, if not identical) and am curious how badly you felt the SRC dusted?

Thanks again guys!

RogueM3... I've been a member on bfc since 2001. I go by the username NLR. I learned alot from that board during that time. Pretty much everything that I have done to the car I got the ideas from there with the latest mod being the painted Kosei wheels with the red lip. Someone posted some pics of an alpine white M3 with them and after seeing how they looked I had to do the same.

The Blackfire SRC does dust to some degree, but I personally didn't find it to be excessive. The results attained from it though are second to none. I certainly don't mind a bit of dust in exchange for a perfect or near-perfect finish. I detailed my sister's Yukon the other day with it and just rinsed the car down after polishing and waxing to remove all traces of the dust. No big deal. I'm pretty sure from now on this will be my #1 go to finishing polish.
