ebpcivicsi is absolutely right. Foam tends to form MORE heat than wool, which in many cases burns the paint down quickly if left on a certain area too long. Wool cuts quickerwhich tends to chew up paint edges and highpoints quickly. Either way, if you leave even a glaze on the same spot for 20 seconds at 1400 rpm, 95%+ of the time, you are burning through and if not, you are greatly diminishing the clear. I figured all of this fun stuff out during TRAINING with the rotary. Junk panels really test your skill and give a nice litmus test as to how much cutting a finish can take.

NEW TECHNOLOGY!!!!!
stage5 said:You guys are just jealous because you don't know the secreets of the NEW TECHNOLOGY :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
I think he has a stage 2 package in a R&D where he takes SSR 3 mixed 50-50 with sand (it has to be fresh sand from the beach) and he uses that with the rotary for 30 seconds in one spot without moving the rotary at the highest speed and there will be no scratches.
It brings the "shine out of the paint" and gives it a glass shine. The final step is the rotary with 50 gritsand paper on the hook and loop pad at max speed + AJAX powder with TW RED copound to give the paint some depth:chuckle: :chuckle:

Wow! I never knew that all the car shampoo I've been using for the past few decades must have fallen through black hole generated tear in the fabric of space and time.Scottwax said:..."auto soap was never around until 5 years ago, it's all about making money."

ebpcivicsi said:LMAO, he just e-thugged and called Sean out, someone must register and school this guy. The sad thing is, there is no way someone this arrogant could possibly learn anything--he know's it all.
I am absolutely in shock, what a toolbag.
I mean, he could come here and looked under Sean's name in click and brag and see who knows what. If someone registers there, just post links to Sean's threads in C&B.
realtycar said:Well, well Mr. Stilez....time to take you to school, perfect example of 'don't know what your talking about' on the internet. Here is the link so you can read from 3m that it is,,oh hell..I will just paste it for you...New final glaze that provides durable, silicone-free protection for a 3Mâ„¢ Perfect-Itâ„¢ III finish. Please help me read, I am sorry where were there "plenty of silicone oils"? I was tought that the word "silicone-free " means NO SILICONE!

As far as your statment that BMW owners will burn through the paint!....I have a nice video coming for you tonight....what a E-Noob.
3rd...This picture WAS taken in the sun...http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/sho...1&postcount=53
4th..the picture of my car in the first page...come on..1/4 the car is in the shade...look at the shadows...what a moron.
5th..most professional products will give you the same results, not just 3M...thats correct...but 3M in my opinion is the safest
6th..I stated that.....BMW uses Glasurit Paint but does NOT have the same clear coat as the european cars. Due to the EPA crap, we have a "softer" clear coat due to a chemical in Europ's clear coat. So,,,we get more rock chips. IF your car get fixed or repainted,,,it's usualy 3M paint. There are 4 brands that is exactly the same color that body shops can use. http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/sho...9&postcount=46
I stand by my statement...I will put the 3M process w/P21s agains ANYTHING....if you have better I will try and switch, if it is better....It's a personal statement.
The more that guys talks...worse he looks, like we need another garage warrior on the weekend telling the professionals what is right.
