This BMW belongs to a new client I just picked up and he is the second owner, the car was in pretty bad shape with a few places on the car having RIDS so deep that to chase them 100% would have at the least thinned the clear to much or at worst rolled it.

interior after shots

DSC00250.jpg

the painted parts of the interior were bad and a PITA to do by hand mostly and with the tree inch rotary pad as well

the areas behind the seat were really tough, small areas were my full figured self is how should we say "difficult to get too" (lol)

Nice work! I've got a black Z8 to do soon and the paint is in terrible condition. Would you say that the finish on Z8's are really soft? Also, do you have any after shots of the headliner? I'd love to see how it came out after being so soiled.

I do not know if the garage shot is calender worthy........ but I think the finish lookes really nice(depth) where as the sun shots show clarity.

AZ Ferrari Man, I did think this car was really nice, of the six or so Z8's I have worked on(alpina versions lately) this color was really different, most have been black or silver with red interiors.

The owner said of the seven cars he has, his wife likes this one the most it is their Monterey/Carmel getaway car as it has good power but the ride is compliant.

Dave, to be honest the headliner after shots were not worthy of Autopia, as I stated I only got 75% correction at best plus I did not want sagging in the headliner from moisture. The paint on this Z8 was not especially soft and corrected well, although in the past on one black one I chased holograms for over six hours.

Beautiful work Bob. That over hood shot in the garage is unreal, really shows the depth and wetness well. :bigups

Fantastic work as usual Bob!! I wouldn't expect anything less.

Those Gloss It products are amazing. I can't wait to get my hands on some Signature Gloss in the next month or so.

BADA BING!!

Richie just call the other "Ritchie" and tell him your a friend of mine(lol) and some Signature will be sent "ovah there" (crude attempt at a Sopranos like accent).

bob outstanding as always!!! i hear ya about that fuller figure interior cleaning lmao . i feel your pain!!! great work!

Thanks Barry, after knee surgery I was off almost seven weeks and could not work out doing any cardio for fear of delaying my timeframe to get back to work. It got bad there for a minute as the weight got up to 278 Lb's (not good minor fatness) back to low 260's and with a goal to get to 255 or so.

Glad that you are up, working and healthy again Bob. Great work! That is sure wet paint. How was the orange peal from the factory on those cars? Looks very flat!!
