Recently completed job in the shop, Alpine White with every mod almost that can be installed on a late model M3
.
The vehicle had some paint work done and the finish was not "finished down", with sand scratches and deep tracers along with built up marring.
After a wash/Iron X/clay step i proceeded to the paint correction ....
Marring on the hood.
Bombing run by a local bird.
Defect removed.
Deep RIDS.
Decklid now smooth and clear.
Readings from the composite wing.....................I think there is enough to work with(Understatement..).
Before.
After compounding.
Two spots had deep defects, so I sanded lightly.
After.
Black trim was not looking very nice.
During compound stage.
Enough clear for correction, but still getting on the thin side.
Marred front quarter.
Marring & shrink from the re-spray corrected.
Shrink and marring on passenger door.
Leveled finish with M105 and Black Edge Wool.
Decklid edge marring.
After compounding.
