Boy, once I got the detailing bug, I can't stop. I can't believe I spent the weekend detailing instead of watching football. This was a first. Since the days aren't long enough yet, I could only do it on the weekend.

I bought my 7336sp last Sunday, the CMA pads arrived Wednesday. I had to use 'em, so I picked the Expedition. All I ended up doing was: Saturday, washed the vette, it already had 2x AIO, 2x P21s so I QD'd with Pinnacle CM, boy it brought the shine and slickness back. Then I tackled the Expedition. Full dawn wash, starting with wheels and tires. (got to get some wheel cleaner) Then washed the Exp'. (that is a whole lot of vehicle) Didn't care about the neighbors, broke out the leaf blower to assist in drying. Used Clay Magic with E1W&S as lube. After the final wipe down, Saturday was shot or rather I was shot.

Sunday: Since I have a garage, the Exp' looked good, no dust, I started up my PC for first time. I could have applied AIO by hand but I wanted to try the PC. I finished the first coat of AIO, I took me 2 hours for that. (Is that about right? How long does it take to do a full size SUV, with a PC?) Yeah I know I should have a put another coat on but I did not have another 2 hours. I wanted to do the interior so I could get inside and watch some football. All I ended up watching was the 4th quarter of the Raider game.

Ok maybe I like food too ;)

Good to hear you had a few days of detailing, feels good huh :)

you know, it does feel good. Both cars look good now. But the neighbors just say "hi" when they walk by but you know they're thinking "what is he doing?". I can't wait till the days get longer though. Or I got to get some lights for the garage. Any suggestions. Portable rather than installing something for the overhead.
