Minor wash marks on BMW Mystic Blue - Poorboys SSR1 or 2?

I have a new PC and I am about to purchase some SSR. Should I go for the SSR1 or the SSR2? The marks that I am battling are very light - more or less just wash marks over time.

I am new to the PC game, so I also wanted to ask which pad I should use...the LC white or orange?

Thanks in advance,

~Darren

I've used 2.5 and it took care of all the light swirls... i feel that SSR1 is just too weak, especially with a pc. Then after the 2.5, I just sealed and waxed.

SSR 1 is better at clearing up any light hazing you might get after using SSR 2.5. and when i say light hazing, it's the kind that you only can see under a light and if you look closely at the paint, something only us Autopians would notice. :D

you could try SSR 1 with a polishing pad (LC white pad) and see if that works as you want to try the least aggressive approach first. if the SSR 1 doesn't work, then try the SSR 2 with a polishing pad. take your time and work the polish until it pretty much disappears.

good luck and i hope this helps. :wavey

SSR 2.5 is more aggressive than 2.0. That being said, I still like SSR2 a lot and I use it regularly. They both have a place. If you just need to do a little bit of swirl removal, nothing too major, ssr2 with a polishing or cutting pad as needed will work very well. You decide which product you need though.
