today there was a nice storm, so I traded vehicles with my wife ... first intention was to just do an oil change:dnaughty ... then I saw this :wow:

So, what's the problem?
Doesn't it still need an oil change?
Maybe you could take it to a quick lube joint where they vacuum the inside and do a drive-thru wash on the exterior.

Oh my, you got your work cut out Steve, get the oil change done first.............Happy New Year!:rockon

well I almost freaked when I found this :vomit:

still more to do ..but that will have to wait until tomorrow:passout:

Haven't had the nerve to look in the vac yet :lol2:

so far I've used 2oz of APC mixed with 30oz of water , a couple of bottles of very hot water, a brush, and some Trim Restorer. Not bad for an old man :passout:
oh yeah and a couple of Alleves :rofl

That is what detailing is really about.
Taking something that is in really bad shape and making it look new again.
Yes, the vehicles that are regularly detailed and maintained look nice, but the well used daily driver is the real challenge.
Great transformation thus far.:bigups:bigups:bigups

Man i can see that as being one of my kids car but wife :hmmm:

Poorboy just messing with you :surrender

I can't help but smile at the irony in this situation. Kinda like a tailor's wife that has tattered & raggedy clothes ;).

I'm afraid to ask how bad the oil looked.....

Yes, it is the old story and unfortunately my wife just doesn't care about it, so I've given up on maintaining it:( .... the oil wasn't too bad, but for synthetic it looked pretty beat up

Isn't that the same grocery getter that Pockets supposedly detailed last summer? Looks like the kid missed a few spots, Steve! What th...?
