if i can get it, it will be my first payed detail. ive been doing my own car for a while but might need some more products. I use ssr2.5 and ssr1, then seal with nxt tech wax. should i get some better waxes? dont wanna spend 30$ on a jar though. what are some other good ones that would look nice on red? also is there anything different about the paint on vipers? it is a first or second gen viper with red paint. what about interior ? i have armor all and some 303 aerospace but i dont care for either, the 303 seems to leave white streaks and the armor all is just cheap. and for polishes i wanna have a backup incase i run into some slight oxidation, like DACP, would ssr do the same as the dacp? any other tips? thanks guys

Megs #26 looks great on properly prep'd red cars

ssr 2.5 will remove oxidation and swirls

have you seen the condition of the viper yet?

ive only seen pictures, it didnt look like it had too much depth or reflection, sort of a plasticy red look? could of just been lighting and such though

I'm not sure why you are getting white streaks when you use 303. The way to get the best results with 303 is to apply with a cloth or foam applicator, let it soak in for a couple of minutes, and then buff off the excess with a MF towel. When I used to detail cars I did a first generation Viper. The only thing I can say is the car gets hot, damn hot. Also, the one I detailed had no windows and the owner refused to put the "roof" on which had plastic side curtains to substitute for windows. So, it was a major PITA. Otherwise, it's pretty much a regular car. Just let it cool off for a while before detailing or else your products will not bond with the paint and you will be left with a streaky mess.
