Microfiber towels at Costco

I love these towels / beats spending the same amount for 2, 3 or 4 high dollar towels. I use them initially to remove final polish & LSP. Then after a washing or two I use them for compounding a couple more. Then they go to door jambs, wheels and engines. **just make sure to tear off the tags prior to use**

David Im with you. I have a system also from new to the grave with my towels. The Costco towels are very soft after a wash and gradually make their way to the rag pile. I have had the expensive towels many times and found that the high pile towels are the first to lose their softness and absorb. Honestly, my favorite towel of all is the Vroom drying towel at Target. They are yellowish and cost about 7 bucks. I use have used them with confidence on some seriously expensive cars. I love those things and usually stock up when they go on clearance every year.

Oh yea!!! also the yellow vikings that can be found at O Riellys and others than come rolled up in three packs I think. They cost about 8 bucks and those towels kick butt.

yeah, some of the viking microfibers are every bit as good as the more expensive offerings and it's nice to find them locally if need be...

The costco towels I saw are made by eurow, they are much better than the older yellow towels costco use to car.

greg

yeah, the older yellow ones (made by hometex?) not only lint, but the edges/seams would come un-done. junk, never again would i buy those...

I bought some MF's at Costco or Sam's club (can't remember). I only use them on the interior and the engine bay. I use higher quality MF's for the exterior.

Even if the cheaper towels don't scratch, I like a plusher softer towel. It's like a bath towel, they all will dry you, but some are more absorbent, softer and plusher.

I bit the bullet and bought a pack yesterday, I sure as hell hope they fluff up after a washing...........NOT, what Im used to using. (I did this out of curiosity).
