Microfiber Tech MF Towels

i have the mftech ultras and the waffleweave.. the waffleweave is great but the ultras aren't so.. they do keep linting and ive washed them twice already. I might try the elite but I think my pakshak towels will suffice for now

Microfiber tech is the only place I buy from now. I did a variety pack of Elite, Ultra, & Waffle and in the end I bought a bunch of Ultra because I couldn't tell much performance difference between the Elite and Ultra. The Ultra's are quite a bargain in bulk! You CAN feel the plush difference though in the Elite and if all I needed was a few I would go with the Elite. And the waffle can dry about 1/4 of the car before a good wringing is needed.

The one pakshak i've used for my windows so far has linted all over. My yosteve lint, the pakshak i've used lints.. bleh

the pakshak ones stopped linting after their first wash but the ultras still lint. maybe after a few more washes they will stop.

I bought two of the big waffle weaves from MicrofiberTech and agree that it might be too big for most people but I was able to dry a Gr. Cherokee and a Ram quad cab with one towel. If I had a big SUV or truck, the large waffle weave would be the best choice. Just gotta be careful with it as it does flop all over the place sometimes.

I also bought their glass cleaning towel; haven't tried it yet but we'll see how well it works compared to CMA's glass towel. I bought it for that comparison.

One last comment: I did my purchase online at their website and found it to work great. Got an email confirmation of my order. Everything came as ordered. Don't be afraid to order via their site; it works well.

I just started using MF towels, and like them so far.I have heard people that have used MF from JT International for a good price.Does anyone know the website for them? Thanks

Elite MF are the best ones You can get !

I would say it's identical to CMA miracle and YO STEVE.

I have over 460 MF towels from diff. vendors ( I'll post review later )

;)

Ditto... :D

I've been testing the Elite MF vs. YoSteve vs. PakShak. The YoSteve "look" more regular (neater). The Elite actually work better on glass and in my tests. The difference is virtually nonexistent between the Elites and the YoSteves on the plush side. The YoSteve non-plush side seems a bit more even (picky, picky, picky). The light green PakShaks seem to be made for Zaino Z6 (QD work).

I would agree that the Elites are a ringer for the YoSteves.

I don't have 460 towels, but I have around 150+ MF towels from MicrofiberTech (Elite, Ultra, Glass, Waffle, irregulars), Pakshak (excellent QDetail towels -- luv them), TopOfTheLIne MFs (a bunch of samples), current YoSteve "Greenies" and CMA MFs (all of the current line including the excellent older Magic towels), and some boxes of Viper (and other) top MF from some old and now out of business vendors.

Note on cleaning for testing:

I clean my MFs (Packshaks and other MF towels) with (1) Dawn [if any wax/polymer got on towels], then (2) Tide Free (warm), 3 distilled water final rinse (hard water city here). They end up super soft and clean glass and detail better than my Charisma Selects!

I'd love to see Ian and Ranney add the new Black (suede-like) CMAs and power scrubbers to their lines (hint, hint, hint).

I agree w/ Serg. I have MF's from a number of sources. Can't say anything bad about the others, but MF-tech was best overall.

Get the Elite, they are much more plush. I gave the Ultra to my wife. The Ultra are good, but the Elite are worth the extra bucks. I used the Ultra for glass, and even after proper washings they still leave trace lint. The Elite do not.

Service and delivery were exemplary.

I’d have to agree with your comments too…

I got a bunch of glass towels from MicrofiberTech and they are good for removing hazing/out gassing on interior auto glass. However, my "acid test" is to take all of the towels and muck-up my eyeglasses with greasy fingers. The Elites are the current all-stars... (no lint and they clean slimy glass better than all of my current MF towels -- including the older blue Miracle towels from CMA).

I keep a single towel from each vendor in a Ziploc by my workstation and rotated the glass clean tests over the last three weeks and the Elites from MicrofiberTech are the current glass champs...

Hi jwmciti,

You want to get the waffle weave micro fiber towels. Ian at Microfibertech is a nice guy to do business with. Sorry I don't have their phone number. But you can go to www.microfibertech.com and send them an email.

IMO, I would recommend 2 or 3 of the 25" x 36" waffle weave micro fiber towels to blot dry your MB. Or you can get 1 - 54" x 28" to blot dry the roof, hood, and trunk of your MB and use 1 or 2 - 25" x 36" to blot dry the rest of the MB.

You can email the man himself at [email protected]

With Aloha,

Ranney

I just ordered 10 elite towles and 2 waffle weave towels. These are pretty new to me since I just joined and hadn't heard of them before. I give them a try and let you guys know, I'm sure i won't be dissapointed.-James

Hi all, I'm new here too and also new to auto detailing. Sent an email to microfibertech wondering whether they do international orders. From where I am from, it's difficult to get any good detailing products. *sigh*
