Microfiber bonnet ?

I used my pc with a blue pad to apply UPP on speed 3. I removed it with the microfiber bonneton speed 2. I was wondering if its alright to remove the wax with the microfiber bonnet?

Yes, it works well for that.

What I usually do now is remove some (not all) of the LSP by hand then followup with a MF bonnet on the PC at a low speed 1-2. This way the bonnet doesn't get a chance to cake up and I just love the glow that I can achieve with the PC at low speeds removing waxes and sealants.

Hmmm, I'll have to try this technique. I've got two fresh coats of Meg's #20 on a my freshly detailed Miata, and was thinking about topping this with P21S.



I've used the bonnets to remove sealants before, but never the P21S. I find they make quick work of removing product, but of course I have to go around with a MF by hand to get all the tight spots.

Mike try and remove it by hand,then buff with the bonnet for your final finish. Also 21 has some cleaners in it, so dont anticipate true layering ok ?

Try TOL's micro-suede bonnet..It works a lot better of me on sealants.

Yes, a good use for a MF bonnet. You might want to use it over a pa that is more dense for support.

Yeah, those are good :xyxthumbs I even get great results with heavy waxes like #16 and 476S but FWIW that's using them on the Cyclo.



Sometimes I do the bonnets then follow up by hand (usually with a CBT). Other times I do the by hand work first and then buff with the bonnets. Either way I always seem to end up using both methods.
