Michalski Detailing is online....

No, I don't know anyone that has tried it. But, my first impression is that it is just like the Home Depot systems except is way overpriced. If you try and acid etch the floor yourself be very careful not to to burn your skin with the acid. You may even need to wear a breathing device so you are not overcome by the fumes.

Im thinking of using the ucoat system in my 3 car garage. I would love to hear from anyone who has experience with the ucoat system. I did a larger garage with a kit from www.precision epoxy.com It has not lifted or peeled at all. It can be scaratched with floor jacks, etc. Im also having problems with the tires on my new truck staining the floor. They claim certain tires have release agents in them which stain into the floor . Overall though Im glad I did it it makes the garage much brighter. Please post pics if you decide to use the ucoat system.

Nice! I'm jealous! I love having the stereo and the Autopia electgronic reference device right there in the garage!

(I always have to get up , put shoes on and go out to the garage just so I can be sure I'm referring to the right product/name/number when I post.... :( )

Hey, redcar - how 'bout coming over and doing my garage? I'll wax your car for you.... :)

Looking real good redcarguy. I have a similar project going, but I'm no where near as far along as you.

That trap door, I had only thought of the attic pull down stair things...which seems to be too much work to install, for as little as I might go up there. Is your trap door 16" wide to fit between rafters or 32" with headers?

I built my trapdoor and "boxed it out" beyond the rafters. It is about 24" x 36" if I remember right. It's large enough to haul up roof racks and snowblowers, etc. I have a hoist mounted above it as well to help with the heavy things. I also have the pull down steps and found them easier than I thought to install.

Thanks for the info.

I don't have much room for storage up there,

but would like access now and again to

wiring and what not.

I'm now thinking boxing it out is probably the only thing to do, in the "do it right, or not at all" vein... trying to squeeze between the rafters spacing would be a pita.

My trap door is 32in wide and 4 foot long:)

Hey folks,

I've been able to put my site online, and was seeking any constructive criticism. My goal was to assemble a simple page that is easy rear, follow, yet does not require any application(s) to load properly. Just a little something something to provide customers with a taste of what I am offering.

Nice start! Easy to read, easy to navigate.

I really like the top two images (right side), MB "before" and "after" but didn't see it on your Gallery page.

Idea for opening paragraph:

Strong statement that will come back to bite you. Try:
"My goal is twofold - to make your car look the best possible (for the condition and services purchsed) and to help you maintain that condition."

Um, it's posted "below" not "above".

Looks good Chris.

Just a minor correction needed:
Services Page
Convertable Top Care - with a final applicable of a protectant to help keep the top clean and water resistant.

Good luck with it!
