before you look at these you have to know where I started at with this garage, I do have pics of the garage before but they are on film and I have no scanner yet. When We bought the house on Sept. the garage was nothing but stud walls and the rafters....2 light bulbs, and 2 pugins:( Since then I have- upgraded the elect. with 2 220 lines(one for the heater that is not installed yet and the other for a 220 plug far a welder or anthing else) then I put Insulation in the walls and in the ceiling, Then I put up the wall board 5/8 OSB, and ran the wires for the phone and the Speakers that are built in the walls:) Next was the priming the walls and the ceiling with 2 coats of outdoor primer, then 2 coats of white on 2 red and 2 black:) My goal was to just haved the Insulation up befor winter, but since I was layed off and the whether was nice I got much farther! On the side that is almost done I need to put the trim at the top and around the window(it will be the same red) Right behind the fridge The wall board is just held up by 2 nails till I get the 220 all figured out. the fridge will be Black with a red stripe to match the wall. I will also be gettin new doors for the side and back door. I have wood covering the one door and the other window( till I have the correct Antitheft devices installed:) I also have an alarm system but cant tell you about that!:) I think that will grt it so far, let the questions fly!!!!!

lighting looks good enough to wax and polish inside.Big plus this time of year.I have no idea on the pic question.Take care and be sure to post pics of the finish product:up

Awesome garage...

Have you considered painting the floor? The reason I ask is that I am planning to paint mine, and I haven't given to much thought as to what type of paint. I saw some roll out garage flooring 9X20' at Sam's Club this weekend, and I am considering buying it for a X-Mas present for my brother in law. I think it was about $119.

Home Depot sells a 2 step Epoxy system for about $60 that supposedly works very well (I took it on the advice of two reliable people, but haven't had a chance to throw down the one I bought yet).

The upsides - leaves a hard plastic shell on the floor of the garage, both scratch and grease resistant, and won't pull up under the heat/force of the tires.

The downside - you need to have a reasonably warm day to do it (>60F) and you can't pull a car into the garage for 7 days (!). Supposedly, this thing will last 4-5 years though, without so much as a peel.

I have seen the pic with the car and all his viper stuf in it, Looks even better than that!

The DIY epoxy floors are junk. They will peal and lift. You must get the floor totally spotless and etch it with muratic acid to do it right. I have know many that have even acid etched the floor and it still lifted. I tried many DIY kits from different places (I even etched the floor), and they all were crap. There is one from Home Depot called "Epoxy Shield" that they say will not lift no matter what, and is supposed to last 5 years. Hahahaha, it lifted in 3 months. Finally I had the floor done by a pro and I have not had a problem yet.

For best results, go with a pro. If you go the DIY route, 6 months to a year down the road you will not be a happy camper. I don't mean to sound like an ass, just sharing my expierences. I would not want to do all that work and then be disappointed down the road.

P.S.-- The garage mats at Sams are a great idea.
