MF towels on Zaino

I use MF from ERC with no problems. I think their 14x14 blue towels are in bundles of 50 for $50.00. I buy about 100 a year and give at least two with each detail job to the customer. They wash and dry well and don't seem to fall apart after a years worth of washing. Do a goggle search ERC their web site will show up. I have paid way too much at other places for Mf towels,ERC brand is ok by me. I found them in an auto deatiling mag. I get. I think they sell to the public,I use my business account. They don't ask for a tax number.

It's not good to use Egyptian cotton or diapers, IMO. Diapers have no nap.

I understand about the diapers but what's wrong with Egyption cotton? I have 100% USA-made Egyption cotton towels and they are really nice. Soft, with long fibers, plenty of nap.

I spoke with Sal yesterday about Microfiber towels. He told me that the stuff from Walmart and Target shouldn't be used. He said the only MF towels he'd recommend are the DF towels or what David sells here on Autopia.

I think I'll invest in the concours buffing towel and see how I like it.

A lot of the issue is quality control too. With cheaper brands, some batches may be safe, and others not. However, you obviously don't have to wait for Sal to endorse a specific product to convince yourself it is safe. There are lot of high quality MF towels out there.

Have David's CBT and the DFTowel. Almost too slippery and too soft!

BTW, I picked up some of those Target Vroom microfibers for my interior. :)

Actually, the Microtex MF towels from Walmart have worked very well for me. You just have to make sure you get the 2-pack and not the 5-pack. The 2-pack is a 70/30 blend and is made in Korea. The 5-pack is 80/20 and made in China.

I have used it to wipe off just about everything and they have yet to scratch my cars.:)
