Ok. I have a mid-size car.

i want to replace all of my towels with correct towels (microfiber) for the job.

I needed the following:

To wash

To dry

To apply various products to the paint

To remove various products from the paint

For the Tires

For the Rims

To apply various products to the leather

To remove various products from the leather

Misc. interior applications

Misc. Interior removal

Glass use

Is their a premade kit? Or can you suggest a store and individual towls . . . ideally with different colors for interior and exterior (heck even for each purpose if you can)

thanks so much

I am a big fan of Pakshak MFs, get the large WWs for drying and some UltraFines for buffing and QDing. As far as regular MFs for removing polish, wiping interiors, and grunge work (keep and wash these grunge ones seperate) the MFs from Sams Club work just fine. I have never had a problem with these and 18 for $8 is a great deal. I can not justify buying a $4 towel for interior wiping and polish removal when I keep atleast 100 of them around.

agreed.

Just reread your post. Pak has a new glass MF. It's a tight , thin waffle weave. I got two of those about month ago. Awesome!! The best glass towel that I have used, I love it. I just order two more, along with the other 10, Just to have around. Id like to keep one in the car along with a few other MFs.:xyxthumbs

Mequiar's new line of Gold Class Accessories includes the Water Magnet Drying Towel, Supreme Shine MicroFiber cloths and the Duo-Fiber Glass Towel. These products all are of very high quality. They are easy to find at auto stores and are very reasonably priced.

agreed, as well as the blue viking mf drying towel (these are one of the plushest/nicest mf's out there today, and are just as good as any other) & the gold edgeless polishing cloth :up

Is it just me or does Excel seem cheaper than Paks? How much of a discount does Paks offer Autopians. I put Autopia in the forum box, but I don't see a discount. Is there a code I'm missing?

After trying them out, I have to agree. The Supreme Shine towels are perfect for QDs since they have a thick nap. I like the glass towel but it is too large. You have to fold it over too many times and MFs really grab onto glass when they are mostly dry and the towel tries to unfold itself. If it was 16 x 16, it would be perfect.

Online, PakShak and Excel have outstanding towels and both Ranney and Patrick are a pleasure to deal with.

I've tried the Viking glass cleaner and drying MF towels. I've found them locally at the Checker Auto stores. They seem to be good quality towels, but I haven't seen any of the towels you people talk about from online stores. ;)

He just told me to put `Autopia Special` in the comments box on the order form.

I own both towels and am a big fan of them. I own only PakShak and Excel towels. However, I am bias towards Excel because of their cheaper prices and even cheaper shipping.
