MF not absorbant anymore?

I tried boiling some old mf towels I had with stains. I added vinegar and let the water get to just boiling temp. Waited 10 mins, took them out and the stains were still there...Im washing them as I normally do with a load of other towels to see if it somehow "unlocked" the stains. Im skeptic, but I'll post the results...
 
Back to your original question of MF's not being absorbant after numerous uses...



I've found that all the various products (especially wax and sealant) "soak in" to the MF towels and after a while, even boiling can't take it out.



That's why I have a constant rotation of towels. I buy about 4 new towels a month, (which gives me about 50 new ones a year)... As they lose absorbancy, they get demoted to lower tasks (engine, wheels, etc.) :chuckle:
