Menzerna twins enough for these buffer marks?

Well I got a nice suprise today. I dawn'd my car (first time since after it's paint job) and found about 10% is covered with buffer marks. That doesn't seem like much, but it happens to be on all the curves (like the hood to the fender). They are pretty obvious buffer marks... and since they are on the edge it makes it even more clear. I knoticed them after the first wash, but never got it into the garage with the 500 watt lights. Now i can see that along both sides on the car (though more on the drivers side) where the there is any kind of a curve there are the same marks. I have only one picture of them ( my bro is borrowing my camera or else i would have more) They are the same as those in the pic, but much larger... i'd say 3/4 to an inch in general.

Obviously i should call the body shop and let them know... but i really dont' want to go through that hassle. They took so long in the first place just to do it wrong... i'd much rather do it myself if possible. If some Menzerna Intensive Polish and Final polish with my PC (and an orange and black/grey pad) would be enough... i'll just do it myself. But, if they take more than I don't know. Does anyone here have lots of expierence with removing these kind of marks? How much effort does it typically take? I'm goign to get a magnifying glass and see if i can't get a better idea of how bad they are...

I have used the Menzerna I. P. with great success using an orange pad then a white pad and then finishing off with a black pad. This though was done using a rotary and not a PC.

I finished the process using the Final Polish on the Cyclo and then by hand.

The Orange pad (Das Polster) works very well but can become difficult to handle on curved and odd shapes. It works best on flat surfaces. Orange pad with the I.P. at about 1800 levels the paint nicely but leaves, obviously, leveling marks. The white pad and another shot of I.P at about 1500 levels those marks out and a black finishing pad at 1300 with one more round of I.P removes about 95% of buffing marks.

One final rotary pass with a NEW black pad and F.P. will take care of just about anything left over. Or you can try finishing with a PC or Cyclo. I can't say for sure if you would be able to remove those swirls with an orbital and the orange pad because it takes heat and friction to really work the product and the paint.

The PC "might" work but you will need to work the paint for along time.

Thanks for the reply Anthony. I think this might finally be the event that leads to me getting a rotary. Interestingly enough, thanks to this board, I think i can probably get better results my first time using it, than whoever does it daily that left those marks.

Now to see if i can find the $200 it takes to buy one...

got some more pics... it was quite hard to capture them... but i managed.

after.. with just one pass of Menzerna Intensive Polish and the PC with an orange pad.

There are still a few scratches of about a 1/2 inch legnth... but so few i could probably give them all a name...

Menzerna is great.. i'll post my review after i finish the pass around the car.

yep useing a circular polish it would remove them 100% withotu any dullness menzerna products are alot better then DACP in my opinion
