Menzerna Purchase Help!

I have decided to explore the Menzerna line. What products are essential for 3 step polish, burnish, and lsp? Would it be a good idea to get the Fav 4 kit even though i don't need the MF towels? If you suggest the Fav 4 please explain application of each if possible.

Any and all help is appreciated!

I use menzerna alot. I'd get SIP, 106FA, 85rd and Power Lock. I'd also look into PO203 Power Finish, as it is a decent 1 step capable polish.

You can find information on how to use these products by searching... But FWIW I use them with a rotary and edge wool pads. I have started using the edge finishing wool pad and it is honestly amazing with 85rd...cool stuff

why not power gloss compound? i figured for heavier scratches it would work faster/better than sip? the more i look at the chart on autogeek i start to get lost.

Because M105 works better, and you dont always need a really aggressive product. 80% of the time SIP will cut it just right.

never used power gloss compound but it has been said that the finish left from that isn't very good and on top of that it does dust really bad. I heard from some reputable people that it just makes for more cleanup work in terms of marring the paint and what not.

I would go: SIP, 106F, 85RD . . . . you can finish with 106 if you wanted to and go with:

Power Gloss, Power Finish, 106 or 85RD depending on what you wanted.

ok i'm slowly getting it. so this is what i'm thinking about getting. SIP, 106, 85rd, sealing wax, and power lock. sound good correction to protection? I decided sealing wax and power lock depending on the car and how i'm feelin. you know how it is.

I don't know why Power Gloss gets a crappy rap, never caused any issues for me. I suspect the user used a bit too much.

Ok maybe i should clarify. I detail other people cars. I am moving into a higher end market, i need products that are going to work for this market as well as for lower markets.

Can M105 cut ceramic clear? If it can, it may be in my arsenal, especially now that i have made my menzerna order and if i can find it at a local paint and body shop that carries it.

I'm sorry for being lackadaisical on my research for I am truly experiencing search/research overload and BING has failed me once again! :furious:

Ceramic clear can be cut with anything with a decent amount of cut... If that makes any sense :D. The clear is just harder.

M105 will most definitely cut ceramic clear. Any compound for that matter would.

My choices: SIP, PO203, and 106. I'd throw Power Gloss in there if I planned to do any super serious correction on a regular basis.
