Menzerna Polish

3M Products are darn expensive there SMR is ok but its just a filler that covers up swirls so every couple of months you gotta redo the whole car I like haveing the car preped where all I do is just wash it and QD.
 
3M products are that expensive. $20 a quart for the 3M PI III compound. Still debating over the AMchine Glaze, but thats only around $25 or so.
 
Yah there products are ok but i dont know of any really abrasive polishs like fast cut or dacp that they make the PI-III is pretty agressive.
 
jgv, you have reported good results with Menzerna Fast Cut aka Powergloss Compound aka Grizzly H0819 Coarse Prepolish Liquid (I think). Do you use it with a PC or a rotary?



I need a more agressive polish/compound, but the more agressive 3M and Meg's products are designed for a rotary buffer, and I have not had good luck with them with my lowly PC.
 
I've used it both with the rotary and the PC. When more cuting action is required, of course the ro beats the PC, but it can break the FC well enough. I think it's the same with Megs compounds.
 
So the HO819 is the fastcut aka powergloss ?



I emailed menzerna they said they just sending it out because the stuff they have is obsolete or something im seriously confused lol.
 
On that bottle it's written 'POWERCUT COMPOUND'. I have a sample of a more aggressive product from Menzerna that I didn't bought cause it looked too aggressive. I don't know if the one in that bottle is it or not, though.
 
I talked to Jeff at Menzerna USA (NY) and asked what they had that was stronger than MIP. He told me PowerGloss Compound 1000-1500 grit in a 32oz bottle. I love the Menzerna products (they break down quickly, easy removal, very little haze, leaves a jewel-like surface, German quality, reasonable cost) but unfortunately the IP did only 90% of the swirls. So I ordered a bottle of PowerGloss. Should have it on TUE. Even though it sounded aggressive, Jeff said that because the abrasives in Menzerna are so fine and they have strict quality control built into it, its abrasiveness is nowhere near a true rubbing compound.



Eager to try it out.
 
Maybe that's it. Easy to check, tho, the FC is white as the IP, while the other more aggressive compound is creme, like milk with coffee.

where did you order it from grizzly industrial the H0819 if you can post a link cause im still confused with which one at grizzly is powergloss and intensive polish.
 
I ordered it directly from Menzerna in NY when I talked with Jeff this morning. I have a legit but small detailing business out of my house. I am licensed for it with the state. Maybe that's why I was able to buy it.
 
Hmm probley could you identiy any of the Menzerna Products on the links i posted to grizzly industrial. Unfortunetly I dont have a buisiness yet its just a hoppy for now. :(
 
I just got some quart bottles of Menzerna polishes from Grizzly, and I think Grizzly's H0819 is NOT the Fast Cut/Powergloss that jgv and Brad NC are talking about. Based on what has been said in this thread, the Grizzly website, and the Menzerna labels, this is my best attempt at sorting it out, starting with the most agressive:



1. Grizzly calls its H0819 "Menzerna Coarse Prepolish Liquid," 1000-1200 grit. The Menzerna label says POWERCUT COMPOUND S 33 B, #22101. It is light beige in color. This sounds like jgv's "more agressive compound."



2. Jason threw Grizzly's H4873 into the ring. Grizzly calls it "Medium Prepolish Liquid," 1000-1500 grit, and features it as a new product. The Menzerna label says POWERGLOSS #22984.260.110. It is white. I'm guessing this is the elusive Fast Cut/Powergloss jgv and Brad are using.



3. Grizzly calls its H0821 "Menzerna® High Gloss Liquid Polishing Compound." Menzerna labels it "Intensive Polish" Polishing Compound PO 91 E #22084.261.110. It is white. This has gotta be good old IP.



4. I don't think Grizzly carries FP, although it looks like jgv has a quart bottle of it.



5. I don't know anything about the Sealing Wax. Is it even available in the US?
