Menzerna FPII good for soft paint?

I want to know if Menzerna Final Polish II breaks down enough where there isn't any micro marring on soft paint. I've been using 1Z metallic polish but after a wipe down with 50/50 alcohol and water mixture, I can see super fine marring in sunlight. Now the 1z is a really mild polish so you get the idea that my paint is pretty soft...Any other suggestions on a light polish?
 
Yes FPII should be fine, also what type of pad you use is very important as well. Use a polishing or finishing pad with FPII and work at 5 or 4 if using PC
