Menzerna FMJ not durable?

FMJ definitely degrades after the first wash. Beading decreases noticeable, but slickness is what really takes a big hit. HGAS helps to restore it, but unfortunately, it streaks on black for me. I suspect most oily sealants have similar characteristics. like UPP and Wolfgang. If I don't wash my car for a while, FMJ seems to stand up reasonable well. The slickness prevents dirt from adhering, so dust washes off easily.

It's also helpful to remember the distinction between the German Menzerna products (polishes, or most of them anyway), and the USA line, as the quality may not always be the same.

Does Menzerna of Germany make a FMJ-like product? :nixweiss

I've seen some reference to a sealant or wax on German Menzerna sites...let me do some research. On the main Menzerna site (Menzerna.de), I found this text:

This product line is complemented by a silicone based sealing wax which adds a high gloss protective layer on the reconditioned surface.

Whether this product is FMJ or not, I don't know. I was under the impression that FMJ was developed by CMA.

I think Menzerna have 2 waxes. Nothing special about them. Menzerna Germany has nothing to do with Menzerna MFJ accept the name. Its developed by CMA just like JustinTRW said.
