First and foremost, thank for everyone who responded to the following topic: http://autopia.org/forum/car-detailing/102144-i-need-some-help.html Very helpful and informative. :thx
I decided to take another crack at using Menz IP on our MBP MDX. Car was in good shape but needed some correction. I used the UDM with a DAS Swirlbuster and followed up with a DAS Green with Sonux SFX-3 (love this stuff).
I used the UDM on speed 4.5 - 5 and it worked very well, leaving little dusting and little marring. However, I noticed towards the end, the pad seemed dense with polish and I couldnt break the polish down any more, even on speed 6. I used very little polish (two pea size drops) as I went on and sometime just a few drops of water and no polish. The polish spread well but didnt break down. Is this normal?
Anyway, I had good results and was happy in the end. I think i'm going to make the jump to the 106FF in the near future.
This is a 50/50 just after the IP - no SFX-3 or LSP.
