Menz FP+85RD-Good combo?

I wanted to "touch up" my weekend summer car this spring with Menzerna Final Polish+85RD.

Would the above combo cause me any negative side effects? I heard great things about 85RD and I'm hoping it will treat me well.

If you're looking to 1 step your paint I would recommend super finish over 85rd. Die to the diminishing abrasives super finish has a little more cut but finishes the same as 85rd.

Interesting. Now with what pad would I be able to use this one step polish? Here's the thing:Right now I'm using a rotary with 3M cutting pads so I don't know what pad to use with this polish. I use the charcoal 3M pad with my Final Polish and the white 3M pad for the aggressive cut with the IP.

BUT I also have a PC as well so what LC pad?

I personally like the white curved CCS pads, and it can be used on the PC, or rotary. What color is your car, and how scratched however depends on which product you'll want to use. If you have heavier scratches, I would use orange ccs pad and Super Intensive Polish first on a dark colored car. If you have a light to medium colored car, you could use Power Finish with a green CCS pad on your PC as a one step. Best of luck.

The car is black and has minor/moderate scratches at the very worst (only on the hood)

Here's what I wanna achieve: I wanna have a formula to "touch up" my car once before every season just to keep it fresh. I'm not talking a whole 2-3 step polishing system.

Your recommendation for Super Finish is very intriguing and it seems like it can save me a lot of time. I've got other products to take care of heavy stuff (M105/205, IP, etc)

back up top. If someone can read my above post and recommend a good one step polish to touch her up, it would be appreciated.
