ok. ok, so other cars did show up at the car show at Quaker steak and lube in Clearwater this afternoon, which is surprising because of the late afternoon thunderstorms that inundated the tampa bay area. the weather did break enough for a lot of folks to show up and of course the three amigos (steve, ron and angelo) were able to slip in past security again with the fourth amigo, stephen documenting with a pic.








a burt reynolds autographed 79 T/A is apparently up for a raffle again.

Show was supposed to start at 4. This show is always packed, so key to good spot is get there early. Last time Angelo got there and saved us spots, I got there an hour early and there were tons of cars there. This wasn't the case this time. I got there at 3 and there were 5 cars. Ang got there at 4 as it started raining, so we went inside to eat and see what was going to happen.

Inside, the lights kept blinking, and loud thunder.........
Come out and Angelo was right, it's a beading contest......

Then the sun started peeking out and more cars started to come in

Then it started to rain again...... Gotta love FL

Then it cleared, people started to clean off their cars.

All in all 55 cars showed which was really surprising because of the weather. NO GUY WITH GREEN VETTE though

My god I love both those cars, don't know which one I would rather own Ron's or his sons. I'm leaning towards his sons love the old school muscle look and love the color silver with black or dark gray stripe. My poor wife think that will be in my future.

She under stands I am on my second mid life crisis car already. She has been pre warned I will be changing toy cars every 5 years as long as my income stays wear it is or goes up. She is ok with it after seeing her friends and acquaintances husbands get young gf's adn ruin their marriages she see's my car crisis as harmless.

Originally he had a cover over the open area, then it stopped raining, he dried off car, took cover off. Then it rained again. :rofl
