Has anyone used the Wide Angle Wash Brush that Meguires makes? I sent away for it recently, waiting for it to arrive. I thought I would give it a try, hopefully it will be easier on the back when doing the sides of the car.

Thanks

Im not a fan at all of using a brush on a car to wash it. It just doesnt seem safe to me, but I have not tried the megs brush so i cannot throw it in the boat of unsafe brushes. Please review this brush once you get it and let us know how it works.

I know that the brush is extremely soft, I happen to see/feel one at a local auto parts store (they wanted twice as much as Meguires mall-order).

I'll evaluate it by doing the back bumper, I'll wash, rinse and dry it. I'll let you know if I see any scratches.

Anything else to look for?

I have looked at this brush and I really like it. I am not a huge fan of brushes on paint, but I would feel confident using this brush. It is super soft, and looks like it would hold dirt, grime, etc. away from the brush surface that is in contact with the car. I have read several reviews on the brush, and they have all given the brush very good marks.

I used the Meguire brush today and I am extremely pleased on how well it worked out. First off it saved a lot of back and shoulder work, and for me that's a huge plus. It also reduced the time it takes to wash the car. I was extremely impressed on how well it performed on concave areas, along the wheel well and lower door frames where I normal would apply a lot of preasure with a sponge.

I needed to purchase an extra wide wash bucket, the brush doesn't fit well in a standard bucket. Also I used more soap/water using the brush virsus a sponge. The sides of the brush are made of a rubber material, of course I hit the car a few times with the edge...still getting the hang of using a brush. As advertised it left no marks at all. And of course I had a 2nd bucket with just water to rinse the brush prior to dipping it into the soapy bucket.

After drying I inspected the car with a fine tooth comb, I saw no evidense of scratching at all.

It's my opinion that the brush performed as advertised and I will continue to use it. Although I would think that the tops of the bristles will eventually lose their softness over time, something to watch out for I guess.

Knowing the reputation of Meguiar's and their long history, knowing their products, etc., I'm confident this brush went through rigerous testing before it met their approval. They know as well as we do, they can't tout and promote their products and how good they make your car look, how well they protect it, if they're seeling you a brush that will mess it up before you get those products on the car!

I've not used it, but I'd trust them with it. I may just have to check it out myself. My concern would be how well it can clean. But that too I am sure they've tested well. So I'm sure it must do a great job of that as well.

I've used the brush quite a bit on my black Hemi. It works great as directed -- two bucket method. No marring. However if my truck is only slightly dirty, I still prefer to use a wash mitt.

I'm sold, I used the brush again today. I don't think I'll ever go back to a mit or sponge.

Meg's nxt wax

The black LS looks awesome

Hmmm? I always thought a brush would leave some type of light scratches on the paint. But if some of you have tried it out & inspected the paint afterwards & found no scratches then I just might have to give it a try. I like to hear it from people who have actually used the product. Thanks!
