Oct 8, 2002 #2 K Ken B New member Grit is the size of the abrasive sand in the block, the higher the number the smaller (finer) the sand is, therefore less abrasive For touch ups I use 1500, then 2000 (I could not find the 3000), then 3M SMR to eliminate any haze.
