Meguiars QD versus Mothers Showtime?

Morning,



I find both of these QD's readily available at my local Autozone.....the Megs is the Quick Detailer in the maroon bottle...not the Final Inspection...can't seem to find that anywhere except the web.



I've been using Megs QD and I personally like it. Was in autozone last night and they are out of Megs QD, but had Mothers Showtime.



I almost bought it to try, but for some reason didn't and decided to wait until I found the Megs stuff.



Sometimes I'm reluctant to try something new when I am satisfied with my current situation.



Any one have any thoughts on the Mothers QD? Do you like it better than the Meguiars and why.

I like the Mother's Showtime better than the Meg's Quick Detailer. Mother's seems to shine better, make the surface much slicker and not streak. The only thing I like about the Meg's QD is the sprayer.....real nice fine mist.

Stop by your NAPA store or a body shop supply store for Final Inspection. NAPA has gallons for less than $25 in this area.

Does the Mother's Showtime QD have any carnuba in it? I got a bottle with the clay kit and I'm afraid to use over my Klasse SG until I'm sure there's no carnuba.



On a related note... does the Clay Magic QD that comes with the blue clay kit have any carnuba?

Mother's Showtime is carnauba free.
 
They both do not contain wax, but they are loaded with silicone!



They both leave massive streaks on Zaino! I really like The Wax Shop's Super Slick QD. It is silicone-free and leaves the surface anti-static!:xyxthumbs

My favorite non-carnauba QD's are Wizards Mist & Shine, and Meguiars FI. IMHO, the Mist & Shine is the glossiest non-carnauba QD I've seen! Of course, it's not cheap, and you pretty much have to mail order it! Anyhow, I think both these product are a tab better than the Meguiars QD, and the Mothers Showtime.



Then again, I pretty much stick with Z6 on my Zaino!
