Meguiar's Lab Sample 'P'..... WOW!

Michael Stoops, from Meguiar's INC, asked me to test Lab Sample 'P', a new dressing for vinyl, rubber, plastic, etc.

There are some amazingly in depth reviews on the product on Meguiar's Online, in which the authors have gone in to great detail about this product.

They did such excellent jobs on their reviews that all I can say is a I concur!!!

I washed my HHR in the sun and gave it a wipe down with Meg's M135. Then I applied LS 'P' on half of a mirror. It is over 95 today in Orlando, with no cloud cover. LS 'P' is definitely a creme, but as soon as you begin to wipe it on to the plastic it almost transforms and spreads so easy. VERY LITTLES goes VERY FAR.

It laid down a very thin, very dark, semi gloss shine with ZERO streaking. Amazingly it dried to the touch with in a minute and leaves behind no greasy feel.

It seems to have a light cleaner, as I used on my under hood cowling and it did transfer a little bit of black onto my applicator, but WOW: What a difference.

It is VERY easy to use and leaves a perfect look. Dark with out looking too shiny.

It doesn't seem to have any performance draw backs when used in the sun, it still spread easy and did not streak.

I am really liking Lab Sample P and I am still keeping a close eye on durabilty.

I have always hated plastic dressings. The best one I have found to date is the chemical guys Extreme VRT dressing. Ill be interested to see how the label P holds up!

I was very impressed with Sample P and will definitely be picking some up for use on exterior trim once it comes out.


I'm guessing it will be unveiled at SEMA and would expect to see it hit the shelves around the 1st of the year...at least that's when new products have come out in the past. ;)

I really wanna try out some of this stuff!! It looks like something I would love and with all the guys that have reviewed it I want some even more! :D
