Meguiars Gold Class Wash

LikeaRock

...Dreaming on an E92....
Bought some of this yesterday, and I'm pretty happy with it. Doesn't take much to fill the bucket with suds, and it worked the grime off of the paint with little to no effort.

One thing I noticed is that it's a really thick soap...Like syrup...Any idea what makes it this way?

Yup, that's how was made.
If you dont want those thick syrup like. You can try out QEW(quick easy wash) from Protectall.com. No suds,no bubbles and dont use much watar either (2 bucket method) :headbang

I like the Meg's Gold Class Wash, and a lot of guys on here reccomend it. Its nice and thick, provides good suds, and clean easy. Just makes sure you use the right amout of wash and water. 1oz. per 1 gallon of water.

Yep, that's the deal... follow the directions and measure it out correctly. That goes for any car wash soap. GC is a pretty strong soap. If you use it too heavy it can strip some waxes. Used properly, it's a very good soap... especially given the price and availability.

Well it's my first bottle of it and it definatley won't be my last. I'd of course like to try other soaps in comparison, but I'll buy another bottle of this for sure

How can u guys measure how much water u guys put into it since the suds build up soo much u can't see where the water is leveling at. wha i tried doing was filling it up with the hose without soap and counting seconds to see where a gallon was left at, and thend oing it over again with soap. not sure if thats coming out too great because at times the soap is too liquidy and clear

I fill up a 5 gallon bucket with around 3 gallons and no soap. Then i add a squirt of soap, then make some bubbles.

Exactly... put most of the water in first... then the car wash... then hit it with the spray.

I put it on my wash mit and hit it with some pressure from my fire hose nozzle like Adam does in his video. I like NXT way more than GC, but that's just me.

I add @ 1 gallon of water, add soap, hit with high pressure water. I have an indentation on my 5 gallon wash buckets which is at @ 4 gallons. I just hold my hand at that mark until I feel the water. Works great.

:bigups Like it and prefer it's lubricity over GC. Relegated my remaining GC to tire and wheel duty. Same for my Eagle One WET wash.
