Meguiars APC+ question

I got 1 gallon of Meg's APC+, and was about to use it as suggested here, as an engine degreaser, yet i wonder, is the stuff corrosive ? Or has anyone one noticed it makes aluminum, or paint fade over time, or it's just plain safe ?



Common sense would dictate that, using it as recommended on the back panel would not cause any problems.....that's what i think, but i prefer asking, as asking first is so much more simple than reparairing damage.

I have used APC+ for glass, metal, plastic in both dilluted and non-dilluted form and I did not encounter problems as far as corrosiveness is concerned or suich other problem :up

I have been using the stuff as an all purpose cleaner for about a year now. Just a few comments.



(1.) A 10:1 mix is all I use.

(2.) Carpet, floor mats, wheel wells, and tires about covers what I use it for.

(3.) My stuff is not usually very dirty. The 10:1 might not be strong enough for some jobs.

(4.) Seems to work good with no ill effects.

(5.) The stuff stinks, but the odor doesn't last long.
