Megs W67DA 5" BP vs. LC 5" BP ?????

Is there any performance difference or Pro's and Con's between the two backing plates when using others pads. I have the Meg's W67DA BP for the MF system because its recommend for a cooler pad and easier pad removal. Ive also used the Megs BP with a variety of other pads with no issues that I've noticed. So is the construction and materials of the LC BP different enough that it would perform better/worse, or maybe i should say differently then the Megs when using foam pads or other pads beside the MF ones?

They are both extremely high quality backing plates. The main advantage to the Meguiar's BP is the shorter hook n loop which allows the MF Disc to set better.
