Megs Quik Interior detailer

What do you guys think of this product? I think I was a little disappointed in it. it does not seem to add much to the dash, ie not much change. Will I love this stuff in the future or does it do the job, just not show off?

I love it. Think of it like a #34 for your interior. It doesn't add anything or take anything away. It just cleans and protects(a little). It's best use is after you have done all the cleaning and protecting but need a QD to remove some dust and maybe some light staining. It works wonders for that.

i think it's main purpose is just to clean and not really leave a protective finish, very minimal if that.

I don't like it. Too little sheen, its great on brand new cars, but useless for restorations. I'm a Natural Look guy, through and through.

And this is where it shines the most. After you have done the NL routine and things get a little dusty, you can spray a little of this on a MF and wipe it all down. It works well on all the interior surfaces.

I used it last night. It picked up all the dust and dog hair from my dash and console, as well as got sweat grease off of the door panels and leather seats. I like that it's a really light mist. It is definitely a low gloss deal, and probably the perfect thing to use on steering wheels. Also, unlike some interior treatments, it doesn't totally gum up any glass you may overspray on. I like it, I think it's great to touch up an already clean interior, not unlike their exterior detailing spray.

Unfortunately, I don't think it has any UV protection, does it?

edit: I used it on my brand new (2 week old) 9-2x.

I absolutely love the stuff. I find that it does a better job of quick cleaning than just a damp MF ever accomplished. I wish they sold it in bulk or re-labeled in their detailer line; I'd grab a couple gallons of it.

this stuff is not for anyone who likes a "shine/sheen"...totally matte look...if I had three hands it'd get a triple thumbs up...

Thanks guys, it seems like most of you give it a thumbs up. I used on the dash of a new Scion Tc which has an unusual finish, I don't know quite know how to describe the dash but it is different. So, A) it was clean B) just a little dust and it made it look like new, very subtle change. I'll try it next week on its first wash and probably have some more impressions. You guys are right about the fine mist sprayer on this bottle, we could repackage some of our QD's in this sprayer.

I just got it and will use in the next few days. Low sheen is great result in my books.

Megs QD (both exterior and interior) bottles are best misters around. I've already transfered my favourie QD into it. :up

I Love 1Z cockpit premium. It has a very slight sheen. For those who have used the 1Z ,how would you compare?

I suppose because I like the 1Z that I could just use that has a quick detailer but it seems that you have to do a complete wipe down to make it look even

Would the Megs interior QD compliment the 1Z? .

I like it because the dash on my Corolla is weird. Most products tend to leave spots and so. Megs leaves a nice and even clean finish and I jus started using it and like it!

I just wish the misters would fit other bottles -- the ones megs uses are fragile like no other. One even slight impact with something and they spring a leak! :angry

I love this stuff too, but I prefer a matte/natural dash; I don't like anything that looks "dressed." It has actually made detailing the interior of my car enjoyable. It made my dash look the way it did when I first bought the car. From what I understand, there is some UV protection but I usually top the dash with 303 and buff to a matte finish.

I think everyone should have one bottle of this stuff for each of their vehicles! On a outdoors trip with our minivan, all of the pollen and other dust/debris that fell into the vehicle were easily removed, easier than with a regular MF, right away! I used it at least once a day! I think the best thing about it is the fact that I can spray it everywhere (nav screen, stereo, even the gauge cluster clear plastic, leather, metal...just everything. Plus, if I get it on the glass it does nothing. In fact, I use this to clean the little mirrors on the inside of the flip-down visors, too!

I tried some out last week and liked it. Nice low sheen look on the dash, and it did a good job of picking up light dust on trim pieces, leaving a streak free finish. I think NL is a step up, but the Meg's product works well too if you need to pick up something locally.

i keep a bottle in my car at all times!!! I love it. I guess I love it so much because you can practly spray it on everything and just wipe it off and it leaved no streaking. If I want to have the dash look wet i use something else but it seems to me the glossier they are the more things stick to them

I love this product. I am one for a low sheen interior and this does the job. I give it two snaps up and a circle.
