I can't believe how much Megs Hypershine slings. I've let it dry for over a day and it still slings all over my paint. What gives? I do have it mixed at 3:1 since I like a high shine but the slinging is the worst i've encountered. Any opinions?
If so; spray on thinly and then wipe down with an el-cheapo microfiber applicator or towel; or terry cloth to prevent slinging. There can be no liquid excess on the tire.
I use the Meg's Hyper at 3:1 all the time; no issues with slinging so long as you wipe the tire down. Goodyears really have the worst sidewalls with the vertical ribbing designs they like to use.
i use it 1:1 and get no sling at all - just apply 1/2 tire working it in, then reapply to the applicator and do the other 1/2, then reapply to the applicator and do the whole tire in one continuous motion...works like a charm and no sling
