megs HD 4:1 on engine

i have used megs apc 4:1 on my engine and like it. is that hyper dressing you are using ? i do see that megs has an engine cleaner also. Meguiars Engine Cleaner

Yes, HD in higher dilution (say 10:1) on an engine is almost worthless. I can say that slightly stronger works well too (3:1)
