Megs Gold Class Car wash and megs #26 liquid

1) It's the PASTE that's .99, not the liquid. The liquid is a lot easier to work with IMO.

2) I like the #62 just fine, it's an excellent wash. But for me the GC is better. Like anything, I'm sure there will be people who prefer the #62.

I found it easier to dispense GC without a big mess is reusing a shampoo bottle with a flip top lid with a small hole so you just squeeze out the amount you need since it's so thick like human shampoo or maybe use those extra large dishwash bottles with the pop up top. Don't know why Meguires didn't think of that. It's like shampooing your hair by using those GC jugs and you end up with big globs and dripping all over. :hairpull

The 16oz GC bottle does have a flip top and I stupidly threw one out. :wall

I can’t bring myself to pay $6.99 for a pint of GC just to get the bottle when I get 1.25 gallons for 8 bucks at Costco. I’d hate to have mislabeled packaging in my garage by putting it a Suave shampoo bottle or something (hey, I’m AR, shouldn’t be a surprise around here) so right now I’m using a completely unlabeled 32 oz bottle (which is bad too but not as bad).

I find GC car shampoo to be a very high-quality product. It's available locally, has excellent lubricity, long-lasting suds, and is a great value if purchased in the larger sizes. I went ahead and bought the large 1.25 jug from Costco (which should last me a good long time). I transfer the liquid to a 4 oz. flip-top bottle that I have marked 1 oz, 2 oz, 3oz --> greatly helps when I am dispensing so I don't pour too much or too little. BTW, I bought the 4 oz. bottle in the travel section of my local Wally-world.

Take care everyone,

MCA
