megs apc plus as bug pre wash?

Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner Plus D103

i have my new gallon of the D-103 APC PLUS. i was curious if it can be used as a pre soak in a spray bottle as a pre soak to remove bugs before a wash? and how would you dilute it? or would it remove the wax/sealant? just thinking long term instead of buying a dedicated bug remover all the time.

You could use it as such, but IME, there are APC's that are a little better at this task while remaining paint safe (Optimum Power Clean comes to mind).

I would dilute at least 6:1 and would wet the paint first to avoid any staining. IME, it will strip wax fairly quickly.

Megs degreaser diluted 10:1 works better for bugs imo, let it sit for a minute then just rinse off, works everytime.
