applied one coat of megs #6 by hand a few days ago and i washed it again today

I use the Meguairs Cleaner/Polish too on my car, which has paint blemishes, and I am very happy with the results. On my Wife's car, which has perfect paint, I use Meg's Gold Class. Both are good products IMO.

I bought a bottle of this stuff to use on my GF's car, and although I know it's not formulated for rotary use, it did an EXCELLENT job on her gold/champagne colored Corolla Now I just have use the PC and a polishing pad every third wash to keep it in good shape.
