megs 38 vs pb trim restore??

ive been using megs 38 recently and i need to replace it, i just wonderd how poorboys trim restore compares??



the car sits out always and we have lots of rain
 
I love #38 on tires and trim that I can care for at least every two weeks or so. I don't get very good life out of it though. It tends to fade as well as leave "runs" over anything below it, i.e lower rocker panels. If you can hit it avery two weeks you're okay.



I have the Trim Gel from CG's and don't care for the effort in application. Seems to take me three times as long as liquid-type products. Life is a lot better than the #38 but the gloss is more intense, even after knocking it down with a MF.



I tried 1Z's (discontinued due to VOC's) trim product which was super easy to use and just as durable as the CG Gel but more of a satin finish. Cannot remember the name.



IMHO, if its outside in the rain a bit, you're probably good with the Gel.

Please don't tell me they discontinued Tiefen due to VOCs? I've been dying to try it, but I'm up to my elbow in other dressings right now.

I received a sample in an undescript bottle a month or two ago and cannot find the packing slip. . . but am looking :hairpull FWIW, it was a pretty thin liquid, very pale blue-transparent and smelled very solventy. Pretty good cleaning ability as well. Same stuff?!

Nah, I think Tiefen is white with an orangey smell. Guess I still get to try it :)
