MEGA post! Bentley, Porsches, CTS-V, Z4 M, and a few more

Great job on the clears, this was a fun writeup to read! Is there a specific brand that really sticks out amongst other? My friend is thinking about to buy a lambo, and I suggested that he cover the whole thing. Also, when do you choose to use M205 or Menzernas?

heh Condoms for cars!! All over protection and Porsches are apparently ribbed for her pleasure! ;) Absolutely STUNNING job guys...your work makes me want to go back to work and I just left.

Must....get.....better.......must...shine.....morrrreeee!!!

[Insert usual :bow regarding ebpcivicsi's work here...]

ebpcivicsi- Heh heh, I think I'm no longer your toughest PPF customer :D The Porsche and the Cadillac make my Yukon a walk in the park by comparison, huh? Bet they paid dearly for it too ;)

Did they get the same film I have? Everybody here is so wowed by your work that they're asking about getting lots of stuff covered (as per those two cars), but I dunno...when there's a real *NEED* for it, OK, but I'm not crazy about how it looks. I mean, it's on my *dog truck* and I'm still kinda, well, you know...I'm glad we didn't do my hood.

Anyhow...you're getting mighty good at applying that stuff! Even in internet pics, your ability really shows. Glad it's bringing in the bucks, you deserve it.

Biz77- He's not exactly cheap, but the work is well worth it if you gotta have that stuff.

Thanks guys!

We use a lot of Venture shield film, as well as LLUMAR--more venture lately because they are the only manufacturer(that I know of) offering 58" rolls. When doing large hoods, fenders, etc you need the 58" width to cover in one piece.

Accumulator, thank you. The film that was on your Yukon was LLUMAR--the "new" stuff circa spring of 07 IIRC. In comparison, the venture has more texture, but less "disturbed adhesive" effect on tight turns, etc. The Venture is also more forgiving to the installer--both films seem to hold up long-term. Both films have come a long way since we did your truck (rolling changes, no "new film" on the market stuff), but the look is, well the look. Not sure if I could live with a full covered car--just too plastic for me. On high-wear areas, sure, but not doors. The film also continues to increase in price! :D Still wish you would let me redo those door pillars wear the adhesive was "disturbed"...

tdekany, the new version--I find it the same as the old. :nixweiss

Flex shaves a bit off of our time, but more importantly it cuts down on my time to train a new employee--safer, less risk, no holgrams, etc.

Rusty bumper, DA...

artikxscout, if he is going to cover the whole car, then venture shield will be the weapon of choice. We use PO85rd when M205 will not finish out. :D Just depends on the paint..

xfire, it is. It also has a built Ls7 hiding under there--stay tuned for a post!

ebpcivisi- Quick reply, gotta catch a plane.

Thanks for the info, glad to hear they're continuing to improve the PPF.

Yeah, there are a few areas I *would* like redone, but getting Accumulatorette to a) drive the truck to TN instead of the A8, b) get it to you, and c) live without having a vehicle while you work on it...well, that's a tough sell for me ;) Sure hope that doesn't make her sound unreasonable, you've met her and I think you could tell that she's basically quite cool with this stuff.

Even *more* expensive huh

Last word that I use is unreasonable that's for sure! I understand completely, but if things ever work out I would be more than happy to redo it for you.
