I don't usually play, but with half a billion at stake, I figured why not? Anyone else getting into the lotto madness?
 
Drove up to Georgia and my law firm bought 40 tickets as a group. Good for the esprit de corps even though it will probably be wasted money. Not only that, the BP gas station where we bought the tickets just across the state line from FL bumped its gas prices to match up with FL prices (which have something like 14 cents/gallon more gas tax than GA, because of no state income tax). I guess they figured they could stick it to the FL residents who drove up just to get lottery tickets.

I didnt wanna have to drive the 8 hours round trip to Nevada to buy a losing ticket. Oh well.



The CA lotto is up to 17 million. Who wants me to buy them some tickets? :roll:
 
I've never played Mega Millions before but went in with 17 other co-workers, 5 tickets each, so 85 in total. I figured why not...
 
Even if you're not a regular lotto player it never hurts to take a shot at winning. If there is a winner in the end, I would bet its a person who got the bug to do it once and won rather than a perpetual player. I am FOR SURE getting 5 tickets tonight.
