Meg. UQD vs Pledge

Since you have posted this I guess I need to confess NXT looks good on the refrigerator. :yay

I have used NXT on my stove, washer, dryer and both fridges. The wife loves it. How come they use real lemon extract in pledge and artificial flavors in lemon flavored drinks..................

That sounds like a good idea, I wonder if it would work on stainless steel?

I sell boats, specifically Ranger bass boats and we have been using Pledge on these boats forever. There is no streaking and it does put a nice shine on them, not that Ranger's finish needs any help straight from the factory.

They have a good sprays for polishing stainless
The company I used to work for did a lot of custom SS fabrication and they alway used one of the products made for polishing SS. I think it was made by 3M.
If something cheaper would have done as good of a job, you can bet they would have been using it. :)

I have a can of it at home I will see who makes it.

I slapped a coat of NXT on our dish washer and it looks and feels pretty nice. One thing of note was that the applicator and microfiber towel both picked up some black from the Stainless steel just like metal polish does (although it was a very small amount). Makes me think that the NXT probably has some cleaners in it. That was just an observation and not meant to try to bash NXT.

Your not bashing, I believe that NXT does have cleaners.
I remember people going back and forth on whether or not it could be layered due to it's cleaning ability.

I remember fill n' glaze. Does anyone remember when Safety-Kleen made wax/polish? It came in a can like a paste wax would, colors on the can were the same as a Safety-Kleen truck, when you opened it, the stuff looked liked wheel bearing grease, but it sure made my brothers new 77 black Vette look good, no swirls, but you worked your a-- off getting the stuff off.

Pledge on a vehicle ? and I thought some of my practices were looney.....
There's really no substitute for a real wax everything else in child's play ...:D

wow this thread brings back memories. i had a '72 olds cutlass supreme, seqoia green, i used pledge on it alot, along with the ocassional excaliber cream wax, but i wold get stopped by cops wanting to know what i used on my car.
my brother to this day still uses it as a qd on his blazer.
i no longer use pledge on my vehicle btw.
