Meg MF system products

I used D300 on a G110 v.1.

I finished with M205.

I liked the results. It was the best compound I've ever used, but my expectations were so high, it probably fell a bit below expectations. I know that sounds contradictory but my expectations were so high, I think I expected to open the bottle up and my car would be pristine (kind of like rubbing a magic lamp and letting a genie out).

I haven't tried the Finishing Wax yet, but I'd imagine it could probably conceal a lot... :-?

+1, As it is the D300 compound seems to have a ton of oils and seems to conceal a little, I really like it though and as long as you're doing an IPA wipedown this isn't an issue.

I'm hit or miss on the whole MF system. Some cars I use it on and it's very very effective and leaves nearly an LSP ready finish behind saves me a bunch of time, other cars I've used it on I feel like the whole system is useless and I can't get any correction out of it.

I actually really like cutting M105 with D300 to increase the working time via rotary.

I ran into a mobile detailer today in a business parking lot. He was working on a car so I chatted for a bit and took his card. He told me he was going to polish with the rotary and then wax with the PC. Just for kicks I returned later after he was finished to see the quality of his rotary work. For a quick job, the car looked really nice, and no holograms. So I emailed him and asked what he used on the car. Since I knew he was going to use a rotary, I was surprised to here that he used the MF compound and Finishing wax by Meg. I asked him why he didn't use the MF system and he said those are for people who don't know how to use a rotary. I chuckled a bit inside.

Anyway, my question to all of you is, have you used the MF liquids with either foam on a PC or foam on a rotary? And how were the results? The car this guy did looked pretty good. Thoughts?

Wow! :-?

Guess I don't know how to use a rotary then. :D
