i just wanted to post my results after using meg 66 with a 3m waffle pad on a rotary.
This pickup is a farm / work pickup that hasn't had any car since i was new in 96. Its owner lives 6 miles from a tar road, and most of its travel is on gravel. The closest thing it gets to a wash is the rain and mud puddles. My brother-in-law is the owner. I periodicly give him shit for never washing it, and one day i came by and he was washing it with one of those shop rags that you can send it to be washed, and dish soap.
the before pictures are after i ran it through the self serve pressure washer-$5.00 worth. I didn't use the brush, just the wand to get off the heavy stuff so I could wash at home with a bucket.
Anyway here are some pics

# 66 removed most of the swirling, and lessened the big scratches. It is far from show finish, but it "cleared up" the clear coat enough so that the metalic is visable again, and even gave it some reflection.
I also topped it with some WG deep gloss. It didn't seem to help the looks that much, but i was goin for a little longer protection than the meguiars was going to give.

I actually tried some DACP on one of the panels next to the #66 and it seemed to get rid of the same amount of defects. Only time will tell if it did so entirely by cutting, or if some of them were masked with fillers.

It really is a good 1 step product that why I got a gallon. It would be hard to determine which one is more aggressive between it and 80 but not as aggresive as DACP. I make it a 2 step and top it when I use it.

It's amazing what a little product and some detailing knowledge will do to abused vehicles. Great work :bigups

I sure hope he thanked you for the new paint job :lmfao

FWIW - #83 is a product that you cannot get in Australia, and the guys here at Meguiars Australia suggested using #66 instead. I passed on buying it as I generally steer clear of having 1 step cleaner waxes, but I have read pretty much all positives regarding it.

BTW - great job on the truck, almost looks brand new! :D
