You may want to give them another try. The Zymol Enterprises (USA) hdq/factory was based in CT since early 1980's but 2009 moved to Tampa, not a long drive from Sarasota. From what I know about Zymol, their US operations is strong but their European distributor is the weak link and may have changed ownership.
We have a few Zymol dealers in CT who carry every Z product, so if I want to buy Zymol I go to them locally. I haven't used Zymol glazes for 10 years but used them exclusively back in the 1990's. Pricey for sure but unique in its marketing and brand. Like you say not for the faint of heart.
